A Meridian Share Account is an account where the Member holds at least one Membership share (each valued at $1), enabling the Member to transact with Meridian, buy an investment, apply for a mortgage, etc. This is a standard part of the Member onboarding process and will be facilitated by the Meridian representative during account opening.
If your Meridian account was not active as of March 1, 2025, you are eligible for this offer.
- Open a qualifying account through this offer page OR identify in branch that you are opening a new chequing account as part of this offer.
- Successfully open the $1 Member Share Account and new chequing account.
- Within the first 30 days of Account opening:

- Click “Direct Deposit Form” from the list
- Click “Deposit Form” from the list

- Select your new chequing account
- Click the “Summary” tab
- Scroll down and click “Download direct deposit form”
