1Self-serve transactions - Includes bill payments via: Online, Mobile or Telephone Banking and ABMs, Interac® Direct Payment purchases, pre-authorized debit, and ABM withdrawals. US Dollar chequing account self-serve transactions limited to transfers between accounts via Online, Mobile, & Telephone Banking and payments to Meridian US VISA credit cards (transaction fee not charged for payments to Meridian US VISA credit cards from Meridian USD accounts). Bill payments and pre-authorized debit transactions are not available on Savings accounts.
2In-branch transactions - Includes all in-branch withdrawals, bank drafts and outgoing wire transfers.
3Interac e-Transfers® will be charged at the time of transfer, but refunded at month-end in accordance with package conditions.
4Cheques – Cheques drawn on the account or cheques written on the account.
5MMB – Minimum Monthly Balance - To waive package and/or additional transaction fees minimum balance must be maintained daily throughout the calendar month.
6Student Chequing Package - For Members aged 18 to 25 or those enrolled in post-secondary education. Limit of one Student Package per eligible Member. Student Member must be the primary account holder for the package to be eligible. For Members over the age of 25 who are enrolled in post-secondary education: Acceptable proof of enrollment for the Student Chequing Package includes enrollment letter, invoice or receipt of payment for tuition, timetable or course schedule, or Tuition and Enrolment Certificate (T2202, T2202A or TL11A) and must include the following information: Name of Student, School Name, Academic term/year enrolled and date issued.
