Video transcript: Meridian Holiday Gift Giving

This video includes different Meridian advisors in their offices calling Members to let them know about a special surprise. It begins with light music and the following intro text on screen:

During the 2020 holiday season, we wanted to do something special and surprise some of our Members.

The music continues in the background throughout the video.

A shot of Advisor 1 appears on the screen. The advisor is in her office, on the phone speaking with a Member. We hear Advisor 1 speak:

At Meridian, we know that this year has caused like unimaginable challenges for so many people….

The video then cuts to Advisor 2, who is in his office, speaking to a Member on the phone. We hear Advisor 2 speak:

We’d like to do something to make your holiday season a little bit brighter this year. So, I just want to let you know that your next mortgage payment is on us.

We cut to Advisor 3, who is in her office speaking to a Member on the phone. We hear the Member speak:

What? Really?

Advisor 3 is smiling and responds to the Member

Yeah

Member 1: I’m stunned!

We cut to Advisor 4, who is in her office speaking to a Member on the phone. We hear Advisor 4 speak with laughter in her voice:

Meridian has decided to credit your chequing account.

Member 2: Oh my gosh!

We cut to Advisor 5 who is in her office, on the phone, smiling as she hears the Member’s response.

Member 3: What are you telling me? Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea?

Advisor 5: I’m so happy we are going to be able to do this for you.

Member 3 sounds overwhelmed with gratitude: You have no idea!

We cut to Advisor 6, who is in his office on the phone, speaking with a Member. We hear Advisor 6 speak:

We’re going to be paying your next mortgage payment for you as a little bit of a 2020 holiday cheer.

We hear the Member respond:

Member 4: This is awesome. You guys are the best! I can’t believe it. This is great.
