Video transcript: How to move money between banks with Money Mover on our mobile app

With the Meridian mobile banking app, you can safely transfer money between your Meridian accounts and your accounts at other financial institutions.

In this guide, we’ll take you through the process, step by step.

Step 1: Sign into the Meridian mobile banking app

Once you’ve successfully signed into the Meridian mobile banking app, select the “Gear” icon in the top left corner to get to the “Settings” menu.

Step 2: Select Linked Accounts

In the “Settings” menu, select the “Linked accounts” option under the “Transfers” section within the list.

This will take you to the “Select your bank” page where there will be a list of banks and credit unions to choose from.

Step 3: Link an external bank

Choose the financial institution you want to link your Meridian account to.

Tip: If your bank or credit union doesn’t appear on the screen, search for it in the “Other Banks & Credit Unions” drop down list.

If your financial institution isn’t listed, tap “Link manually” to manually link your account. You’ll be asked to share your email address so that we can send you the Money Mover set up form.

Step 4: Sign into your external bank

Enter your regular sign in credentials with your selected bank. Don’t worry, the credentials are secure and are not stored in any way.

Check the box here to agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Tap the yellow “Sign In” button to continue.

Tip: Connecting to another bank might take a few minutes. You can select the yellow “Check back later” button and your information will be saved.

Step 5: Select your external account

From the list of eligible accounts, select the account you’d like to link, then tap “Continue.” You can give the selected account a nickname to help you remember the linked account.

You can review the list of accounts and select the yellow “Link bank accounts” button if everything is correct.

You’ll get a confirmation once the account has been linked.

Now that the accounts are linked, you can select the “Between accounts” on the “Transfers tab” to view and manage all your linked external accounts.
