Meridian knows that stronger employees mean stronger communities. It’s why we created our My Commitment to Communities program – where each of our employee’s dedication and passion to addressing the unique needs of their neighbourhoods make up the collective spirit behind our commitment to communities.

Through this program, we offer $1,500 per employee per year in donation matches and volunteer rewards to further support the causes that matter most to them and empower them to act on their vision to strengthen their local communities and support their fellow Canadians.

Meridian is committed to building strong, inclusive and prosperous communities across our operating geography. As a part of our Commitment to Communities, we invest a minimum of 4% of our pre-tax earnings in initiatives that benefit local communities.

Meridian employees are using their skills, energy and experience every day to deliver on this commitment, and we couldn’t be more proud to reward their community-building efforts to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.

To kick off our celebrations, Meridian has signed up to the Canadian Credit Union Association’s volunteer challenge: Inspired Canadians, Inspiring Communities.
