Meridian will be sponsoring up to eight teens (aged 14-18) to take part in in the Co-operative Young Leaders program throughout the summer of 2016!
These eight lucky youths will have the opportunity to spend a week at the Ontario Co-operative Association's Cooperative Young Leaders (CYL) summer program designed to bring your people ages 14–18 together from all across Ontario to practice communication and co-operative leadership through a ton of fun activities! The program takes place near Richmond Hill, ON and runs for either 6 or 7 days (depending on your program).
Hundreds of teens from across Ontario have taken part in the CYL program. Don't miss your chance to learn, develop your skills, and have fun - apply by May 15, 2016!
CYL program has all the things that make summer camp fun—hikes, campfires, swimming, volleyball. But CYL offers so much more! Participants will learn how to be a leader and a team player—how to co-operate, solve problems, and improve their survival skills. And unlike many summer camps, participants have a say in what happens. As a group, the kids help decide on social activities, sports, and the rules and regulations of their stay.

All CYL sessions will be held at the Lake Saint George Conservation Area, Richmond Hill.
