Canada Post Update

Avoid service disruptions and maintain complete control of your everyday banking!
A Canada Post service disruption is currently in effect as of October 22 – likely disrupting the mail we send and receive from you. Items such as paper statements and paper-based payments or account forms might not be delivered or processed on time. But there’s a fast, safe and completely free way of ensuring that your everyday banking is never disrupted. You can get 24/7 access to your bank account(s), pay bills, make transfers, and more.

If you haven’t already, consider the following:
  • Sign up for Online Banking and/or download the Mobile app
  • Register for e-statements in Online Banking
  • Send documents securely using the Secure Messages feature in Online Banking
  • Use the Secure Messages feature to contact us regarding your account(s)
  • Sign up for email and/or mobile alerts
To sign up for Online Banking and get 24/7 access to your bank account(s):
  • Call our Contact Centre at 1-866-592-2226
  • Visit your local Meridian branch
To receive your account statements electronically: 
  • Sign in to Online Banking
  • Click Download Monthly Statements, on the right-hand side of the page
  • Click the Register button
  • Note that by registering to receive online account statements you'll no longer receive a printed version but you’ll have the ability to view cheque images online at no charge
  • You can also set up an alert that will let you know when your statements is ready
  • Confirm by clicking the Sign-Up button
  • From here, you can print or download your statements any time
